Origin Quantum, a Chinese quantum computing company in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Spain's ChinaLink ESGt to jointly develop Europe's largest integrated computing power center in Spain, which will combine supercomputing, quantum computing, and artificial intelligence computing.

According to the agreement, Origin Quantum plans to export its self-developed quantum technologies to support Spain's computing center and a classical-quantum hybrid computing cloud service platform. The collaboration will also focus on researching quantum-resistant encryption technologies to enhance information security.
Javier Romero, chairman of the ChinaLink ESGt, said that Spain plans to build a 1,000-megawatt hyperscale data center integrating classical GPU infrastructure with quantum computing facilities. The quantum component will be co-developed by Origin Quantum and other partners.
Guo Guoping, chief scientist at Origin Quantum and a professor at the University of Science and Technology of China, said that the partnership will accelerate the commercialization of quantum technologies, and pave the way for a joint "Belt and Road" laboratory to deepen innovation synergy.
Headquartered in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, Origin Quantum is China's first company capable of delivering complete superconducting quantum computers. It owns the country's only independent superconducting quantum computer manufacturing chain. Its third-generation superconducting quantum computer, Origin Wukong, has provided computing services to users in 139 countries and regions, emerging as a flagship product in China's quantum technology exports.
